Book: Health and the New Civilization

Okada (“Meishu-sama”—spiritual leader and founder of Johrei) wrote the articles selected for the basis of this book over the period of twenty years preceding his death in 1955. Though his Teachings on pollution of the air and soil, and the toxic condition of the human being were presented more than forty years ago. Science is only now beginning to recognize their truths. 
Meishu-sama taught that everyone has a spiritual body which interacts with the physical one, and that purifying the spirit helps to purify the physical body. His precepts do not conflict with religions, but rather enhance other popular beliefs.
